Volleyball Recap: Village Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Village Christian rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oxford Academy Patriots. The win was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on three straight.

Village Christian found their leader in sophomore Walton Salazar, who had seven digs and one block. Salazar is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 18 or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Village Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Oxford Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 18-9 record.

Village Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Quartz Hill on the 10th. Oxford Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
