Soccer Game Preview: Skyline vs. Olympus

The Skyline Eagles will challenge the Olympus Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline will be strutting in after a victory while Olympus will be coming in after a defeat.

Skyline is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Highland a 3-0 shutout on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Skyline with their most commanding win of the season.

Jax Jameson and Nico Golesis scored all three of Skyline's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Olympus fell victim to Alta and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. Olympus haven't had much luck with Alta recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The win made it two in a row for Skyline and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Olympus, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Skyline came out on top in a nail-biter against Olympus in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will Skyline repeat their success, or does Olympus has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
