After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Muskingum, River View was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the John Glenn Little Muskies. The victory was some much needed relief for the Black Bears as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Regan Foster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks.

River View's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for John Glenn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

River View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Little Muskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
