Charlotte Catholic won the last time they faced Legion Collegiate Academy and Jack Siegel did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 65-39 victory on Tuesday for which the team can thank Siegel, who shot 75% from the field to rack up 28 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points.

Another player making a difference was Mack Jordan, who posted seven points and five assists. He also put up a block, which was his first of the season.

Despite the loss, Legion Collegiate Academy still got an impressive performance from Nico Byrd, who had 15 points.

Charlotte Catholic pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points over those games. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Charlotte Catholic has already played their next game, a 59-35 win against Nation Ford on the 4th. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-49 victory against York Prep on the 5th.
