Basketball Recap: St. Francis Prep Comes Up Short

If St. Francis Prep was riding high fresh off their 66-35 takedown of Stevenson on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Terriers lost 53-32 to the Ralston Valley Mustangs on Wednesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ralston Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caiden Braketa, who posted 18 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Frank Psaute, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

St. Francis Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Francis Prep is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Bishop Loughlin at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ralston Valley, they will face off against Fossil Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
