Basketball Recap: Letcher County Central Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Letcher County Central was the 61-45 winner over Hazard when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars lost 58-35 to the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs on Friday.

Letcher County Central's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points on average over those games. As for Hazard, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.
