Recap: Frederick W Warriors vs. Shalom Christian Academy Flames
It was a good run, but the Frederick W Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt a 54-24 loss at the hands of Shalom Christian Academy. Frederick W was down 42-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Chloe Martin had an outrageously good game for Shalom Christian Academy as she scored 26 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Lehman, who scored ten points along with five assists and three steals.
Frederick W's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Shalom Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.
Frederick W will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Carroll Christian at 5:15 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Shalom Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cumberland Valley Christian at 6:45 p.m. Cumberland Valley Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
