Softball Recap: Ethel Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It's playoff time, and Ethel had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Stringer Red Devils on Saturday. Considering the Tigers have won 15 contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Ethel, bringing their record up to 22-10. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Stringer, the loss snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 19-6-1 record.

Ethel will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
