Soccer Recap: Balboa Takes a Loss

If Balboa was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of The Academy - San Francisco last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Balboa Buccaneers lost 4-1 to the City Arts and Leadership Academy Hawks on Tuesday. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Balboa's goal came courtesy of Anguel Quezada, who's now up to two this season.

Balboa's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for City Arts and Leadership Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

As of now, neither Balboa nor City Arts and Leadership Academy have any future games scheduled.
