Basketball Recap: West Marshall Skates Past Perry with Ease

West Marshall won the last time they faced Perry and things went their way on Friday too. The West Marshall Trojans took their contest with ease, bagging a 54-24 win over the Perry Bluejays. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Bluejays are ranked 76th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for West Marshall and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Perry, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

West Marshall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-23 win against Grand View Christian on the 10th. As for Perry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-27 defeat against Prairie City-Monroe on the 10th.
