After losing to Union the last time they met, Hillsboro decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hawks came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Hillsboro walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-15, 25-17.

Kerrigan Blocker paced Hillsboro's offense, picking up 12 kills. Blocker got some help from Ava Campbell and her ten assists. Finally, Madison Czapla kept Hillsboro's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 17-4-4. As for Union, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Hillsboro will take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Union, they will challenge St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
