Murray had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They strolled past the Tooele Buffaloes with points to spare, taking the game 64-49. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-54 back in January.

Murray got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Beh out in front who posted 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That's the most boards Beh has posted since back in February of 2024. Damani Wilkerson was another key player, going 5-for-9 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Murray smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Tooele still got an impressive performance from Crew Lewis, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Lewis is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Grady Symonds, who earned eight points and seven boards.

Murray's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.2 points over those games. As for Tooele, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

Murray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 91-50 victory against Park City on the 7th. As for Tooele, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-51 win against Hillcrest on the 7th.
