Soccer Recap: Mt. Hope Takes a Loss

Mt. Hope and North Providence squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mt. Hope had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for Mt. Hope seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

The loss snapped Mt. Hope's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-7-6 record. As for North Providence, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Mt. Hope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Providence, they will take on Chariho at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
