Basketball Recap: Como-Pickton's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy last Friday, Como-Pickton came back down to earth. The Como-Pickton Eagles fell 44-33 to the Boles Hornets on Tuesday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Como-Pickton's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Boles, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Como-Pickton and Cooper will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Boles, they will venture away from home to challenge Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
