Baseball Recap: Johansen Comes Up Short

Johansen lost against Pacheco back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Johansen Vikings took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pacheco Panthers. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Braedan Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Johansen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt White, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Johansen now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Pacheco, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

While Johansen had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
