Basketball Recap: Victory Rock Prep Comes Up Short

Victory Rock Prep lost to the Booker Tornadoes on the road by a 63-48 margin on Tuesday.

Leading Booker to victory were J.P Lattimore and Darius Behn. Lattimore dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards, while Behn shot 54% from the field to rack up 21 points. Those 21 points gave Behn a new career-high. Jack Silver was another key player, putting up seven points.

Victory Rock Prep dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Booker, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Victory Rock Prep and Exclusive Preparatory Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. Victory Rock Prep will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Booker, they will take on Riverview Sarasota at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tornadoes will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
