Football Game Preview: Sugar-Salem vs. Parma

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Sugar-Salem. They will challenge Parma on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Sugar-Salem don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Sugar-Salem might be getting used to good results now that the team has six wins in a row. They came out on top against South Fremont by a score of 27-13 last Friday. Junior Tanner Harris was the offensive standout of the match for Sugar-Salem, as he rushed for 45 yards and 3 touchdowns. Harris has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.

Meanwhile, Parma took a serious blow against Fruitland, falling 6-56. This makes it the second loss in a row for Parma.

Sugar-Salem's victory lifted them to 6-1 while Parma's defeat dropped them down to 1-7. We'll find out if Sugar-Salem can add another positive mark to their record or if Parma can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Sugar-Salem's step.
