Basketball Recap: Lakota Wins Going Away Against Hopewell-Loudon

Lakota hadn't done well against Hopewell-Loudon recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Lakota Raiders took down the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains 38-19. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lakota is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Hopewell-Loudon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakota will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against St. Mary Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Hopewell-Loudon, they will head out to square off against Fostoria at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th.
