Stanley-Boyd put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Somerset Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Stanley-Boyd who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 15-7.

Amanda Lew paced Stanley-Boyd's offense, picking up eight kills. Lew got some help from Bailey Sikora and her 14 assists. Kelly Lew controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Stanley-Boyd's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Somerset, they dropped their record down to 3-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Stanley-Boyd has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against McDonell Central on the 30th. As for Somerset, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cadott on the 30th.
