Basketball Recap: Haverhill Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Haverhill hadn't done well against Lawrence recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Haverhill Hillies managed a 53-47 victory over the Lawrence Lancers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hillies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Haverhill's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Lawrence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Haverhill will challenge Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th down 137 places (144 vs. 7). Meanwhile, Lawrence (ranked 141st) will meet Lowell (ranked 16th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
