Soccer Game Preview: Rainier Beach vs. O'Dea

Rainier Beach is 0-7 against O'Dea since March of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vikings will welcome the Fighting Irish at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Rainier Beach fell victim to Lincoln and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Lynx. While losing is never fun, Rainier Beach can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Lincoln are ranked 51st).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, O'Dea was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor Cleveland could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

O'Dea's draw gives them a new season record of 2-7-2. As for Rainier Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
