Basketball Recap: Chariton Piles Up the Points Against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Knoxville, Chariton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 72-38 victory over the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-29 back in December of 2024.

Chariton now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Chariton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-64 defeat against Pleasantville on the 1st. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, they will challenge Knoxville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Knoxville will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont surely won't give up without a fight.
