There's no place like home for Mahanoy Area, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils 15-0 on Friday. The Golden Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Lilly Carl made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Carl was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Urijah Fazio was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Naomi Kowalick was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Mahanoy Area always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shenandoah Valley only posted an OBP of .182.
