Greenfield has gone 6-0 against Cape Fear Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Greenfield Knights will look to defend their home court against the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. Greenfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Cape Fear Academy likes a good challenge.

Greenfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Arendell Parrott Academy 91-36. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Patriots are ranked 180th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Cape Fear Academy lost to Wayne Country Day on the road by a 59-43 margin on Tuesday.

Greenfield's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.1 points. As for Cape Fear Academy, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-10.

Greenfield was able to grind out a solid win over Cape Fear Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 72-61. Will Greenfield repeat their success, or does Cape Fear Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
