Volleyball Game Preview: St. Thomas More Cavaliers vs. Veritas/Tenor + How To Watch

The St. Thomas More Cavaliers will take on Veritas/Tenor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Veritas/Tenor took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Thomas More, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, St. Thomas More made easy work of Greenfield and carried off a 3-0 win. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Hustlin' Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

While St. Thomas More might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Greenfield scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Sophia Lobehoefer, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Veritas/Tenor was not able to break out of their rough patch back in September as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Milwaukee Juneau.

Veritas/Tenor was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-23.

St. Thomas More's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Veritas/Tenor, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went St. Thomas More's way against Veritas/Tenor in their previous meeting back in October of 2017, as St. Thomas More made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do Veritas/Tenor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
