Softball Recap: George Ranch Comes Up Short

George Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Fulshear Chargers.

Kaylie Wacker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Macie Burks was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

George Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-3. As for Fulshear, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

George Ranch and Fulshear should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. George Ranch will challenge Alief Elsik at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 530 places (488 vs. 1018). Meanwhile, Fulshear (ranked 135th) will meet Alief Hastings (ranked 1103rd) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
