Recap: Lisbon Broncos vs. Northern Cass Jaguars
The Lisbon Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 62-43 fall against Northern Cass. Lisbon has struggled against Northern Cass recently, as their contest on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Lisbon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emerson Schultz, who scored 17 points. Schultz also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Tarynn Gilbert was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 17 rebounds and three steals.
Lisbon bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Northern Cass, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Lisbon will be playing at home against Oak Grove Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northern Cass won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
