It was a good run, but East Longmeadow unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. The game between them and the Chicopee Comp Colts didn't end well, with the East Longmeadow Spartans falling 58-42. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 56-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

East Longmeadow's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Chicopee Comp, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Westfield the next time they take the court. Chicopee Comp will host Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while East Longmeadow will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
