Northridge hasn't had much luck against Clearfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Northridge Knights are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge the Clearfield Falcons at 3:30 p.m. Clearfield took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Northridge, who comes in off a win.

Northridge is headed out to face Clearfield after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Northridge sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over Ogden on Monday. Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Clearfield took on Millard on Saturday. Clearfield fell just short of Millard by a score of 11-9. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brynn Nicholls and Lyla Leonhardt did some serious damage despite the final result: Nicholls scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Leonhardt scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Nicholls also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alexandra Bingham, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
