Volleyball Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morrilton Devil Dogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Devil Dogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Morrilton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Dover will face off against Mayflower at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morrilton, they will challenge Heber Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
