Eastern Montgomery's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Parry McCluer Yosemite Sam a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Mustangs have won eight matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kenzie Dunbar was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Macie Akers, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Eastern Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Parry McCluer, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern Montgomery will welcome Craig County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.78 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Parry McCluer, they will host Patrick Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
