Garfield has gone 8-2 against Bishop Blanchet recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Garfield barely beat Roosevelt the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Roughriders 15-3 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 12 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Garfield got a great performance from Sammy Breckenridge as she tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Breckenridge has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Michelle Arimura, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Jordana King was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Garfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .486. They are 14-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Bishop Blanchet was able to grind out a solid win over Cascade Christian two weeks ago, taking the game 6-3.

Garfield pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Bishop Blanchet, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Garfield skirted past Bishop Blanchet 16-15 when the teams last played back in April. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
