Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taylorville). They breezed past the Mattoon Greenwave to the tune of 50-6 on Friday. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Greenwave recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Isaac Repscher continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 207 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 44 yards and one score. Wyatt Younker also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Taylorville proved: they limited Mattoon to a paltry 3.4 yards per carry. The Tornadoes' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.3.
