Recap: Moffat Cowboys vs. South Park Burros
The Moffat Cowboys won against the South Park Burros on Friday with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Moffat managed a 48-42 win over South Park. The victory was just business as usual for Moffat, who after five games remain undefeated this season.
Moffat's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noble Cole, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ziah Pesqueira, who scored 9 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
Moffat pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for South Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Moffat's road trip will continue as they head out to face Primero at 9:30 a.m. on December 16th. South Park will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cripple Creek-Victor at 4:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
