Baseball Game Preview: Eno River Academy Bobcats vs. Vance Charter Knights

Eno River Academy hasn't had much luck against Vance Charter recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Eno River Academy fell victim to Voyager Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-0. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Eno River Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graysen Gromyko, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Vance Charter unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 12-3 to Northern Durham.

Vance Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Eno River Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Eno River Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Vance Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
