Volleyball Recap: Eagle Mountain Takes a Loss

After flying high against Peaster on Tuesday, Eagle Mountain came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Highland Park Scots by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Brooke Lacewell paced Eagle Mountain's offense, picking up eight kills. Lacewell got some help from Molly Aubert and her 13 assists. Aubert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Eagle Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Highland Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Eagle Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Prosper on the 21st. As for Highland Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lamar on the 21st.
