The Pro Stock Royals Academy Royals will head out to challenge the Lake Norman Charter Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pro Stock Royals Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
On Wednesday, Pro Stock Royals Academy beat Cannon 7-2. With that victory, the Royals brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Zach Rometo looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Luke Miller was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Alex Ramos also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Pro Stock Royals Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cannon only managed three hits.
East Rowan hit Lake Norman Charter with a five-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-6. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lake Norman Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Wilkie, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Jesus Acuna was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
Lake Norman Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Pro Stock Royals Academy, their record is now 11-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Pro Stock Royals Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Lake Norman Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Pro Stock Royals Academy might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Lake Norman Charter in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Royals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
