Soccer Game Preview: R.J. Reynolds vs. West Forsyth

R.J. Reynolds is 0-9-1 against West Forsyth since April of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Demons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 7:00 p.m.

R.J. Reynolds is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against East Forsyth on Monday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, West Forsyth had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. They never let the War Eagles get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Considering West Forsyth have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

West Forsyth's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matches. As for R.J. Reynolds, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-3.
