Basketball Recap: Northgate Comes Up Short

Northgate was the 54-43 winner over Las Lomas when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Northgate Broncos fell 59-46 to the Las Lomas Knights on Friday. The Broncos were down 52-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Northgate still got an impressive performance from Grayson Boustead, who posted 26 points. That's the most points Boustead has posted since back in December of 2024. Rufus Lee was another key player, putting up four points.

Northgate's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Las Lomas, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season.

Northgate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Las Lomas, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-49 defeat against Clayton Valley Charter on the 15th.
