Volleyball Recap: Academe of the Oaks Comes Up Short

Academe of the Oaks and Providence Classical Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Academe of the Oaks had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Firebirds in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Academe of the Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Providence Classical Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Coming up, Academe of the Oaks will challenge Covington Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Providence Classical Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
