Softball Recap: West Valley Wolf Pack vs. Lathrop Malemutes
On Thursday, West Valley faced Lathrop in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The West Valley Wolf Pack narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Lathrop Malemutes 9-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Valley.
Kayla Anthony was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last six times she's played.
