Baseball Recap: Crismon Takes a Loss

Crismon suffered their closest loss since March 21, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Valley Christian Trojans by a score of 5-3. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaden Lopez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Crismon's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Valley Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crismon will take on Prescott at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley Christian, they will square off against Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Gophers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
