Basketball Game Preview: Swansea Tigers vs. Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks

The Swansea Tigers will square off against the Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when Swansea challenged Pelion last Saturday. The Tigers took a hard 54-35 fall against the Panthers. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jarian Grant, who posted 13 points. Zyshawn Jamison was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Blackville-Hilda unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Branchville on Tuesday.

Everything went Swansea's way against Blackville-Hilda in their previous matchup back in January of 2017, as Swansea made off with a 59-37 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fighting Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
