Volleyball Recap: Hanks Takes a Loss

Hanks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chapin Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Friday.

Makayla Turcotte paced Hanks' offense, picking up four kills. Turcotte got some help from Ariana Guillen and her eight assists.

Hanks' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Chapin, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Hanks has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Mayfield on the 29th. Chapin has also already played their next contest (against Americas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
