Basketball Recap: Kaycee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Casper Christian last Thursday, Kaycee came back down to earth. The Kaycee Buckaroos were beaten by the Riverside Rebels 53-22 on Friday.

Kaycee's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Kaycee and Riverside: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Kaycee will try to hand Hulett their sixth-straight defeat when the two meet at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Riverside will look to extend Meeteetse's four-game losing streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
