Baseball Recap: Barry County Christian Comes Up Short

Barry County Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakewood Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 on Thursday.

Barry County Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Kammenzind, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Barry County Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lakewood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Barry County Christian will challenge Algoma Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakewood, they will venture away from home to challenge Sexton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
