Volleyball Recap: Gilmer Falls to Whitehouse in First Game of Season

Gilmer had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Whitehouse Wildcats, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Buckeyes have suffered since October 1, 2024.

Livi Brown paced Gilmer's offense, picking up six kills. Brown got some help from Brooke Collie and her ten assists. Macy Stocks controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Coincidentally, Gilmer and Whitehouse will both be playing Tyler Legacy the next time they take the court. The Buckeyes will host the Raiders at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
