Basketball Recap: Coalgate Comes Up Short

Coalgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Latta Panthers on the road by a 48-32 margin. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 44-29 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coalgate's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Latta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Coalgate will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Calera at 1:00 p.m. Latta has already played their next match, a 50-38 defeat against Marlow on the 8th.
