Brooks had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Solorio Sun Warriors 14-4 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Sun Warriors on Wednesday, they had to take a 9-8 defeat.

The team relied heavily on Ameer Rule, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024. Jared Ramsey was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Brooks always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Brooks' win bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Solorio, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooks will venture away from home to square off against Von Steuben at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Solorio, they will head out to face off against Kenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
