Basketball Game Preview: Western Alamance Warriors vs. Eastern Alamance Eagles

The Western Alamance Warriors will challenge the Eastern Alamance Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Western Alamance's tournament run continued when they took on East Chapel Hill on Monday. Western Alamance fell to East Chapel Hill 66-62.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern Alamance). They came out on top against Tunstall by a score of 73-63 last Saturday.

Eastern Alamance has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Western Alamance, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Western Alamance, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-50 loss to Eastern Alamance when the teams last played back in January. Can Western Alamance avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
